What exactly do I get?

Do I need to be a developer to use this?

No. If you can open Terminal (Mac/Linux) or Command Prompt (Windows), paste one command, and press Enter, you can install it. The script handles everything else. After install, Blueprint works automatically in the Claude Code Desktop App, VS Code, JetBrains, or the CLI. No coding required.

Does this work with the Claude Code desktop app?

Yes. Install once via Terminal, then it works everywhere: Claude Code CLI, Desktop App, VS Code extension, and JetBrains extension. The configuration loads automatically in every environment.

What operating systems are supported?

macOS, Linux, and Windows via WSL (Windows Subsystem for Linux). The install script uses bash, which is available on all three.

Can I customize it for my brand?

That's the whole point. The CLAUDE.md template has [YOUR BRAND] placeholders throughout. Replace them with your info, customize the rules, and it's yours. The dashboard HTML is fully editable too.

Will this overwrite my existing Claude Code setup?

No. The install script checks for existing files and skips anything that already exists. It only adds new files. Your current commands, skills, and settings stay untouched.

What are enforcement hooks?

Hooks are automated checks that run before Claude edits or writes files. Blueprint includes 3: brand-check (catches off-brand colors and formatting), a11y-check (flags accessibility issues), and spacing-check (enforces consistent spacing values). They catch mistakes before they ship, without you having to remember every rule.
