Hall 01 · iPhone game

Hold the slide.
Outrun the city.

220 km/h through traffic that does not move for you. One thumb on the glass, and a car that only scores while it is sideways.

NIGHTMILE running on an iPhone in portrait: the car mid-drift through a neon city at night, combo multiplier climbing at the top of the screen.

No. 01 · NIGHTMILE · A real run, not a render

Hall 02 · What it does

Drag to steer. That is the whole tutorial.

Built for the ninety seconds between two things you actually have to do.

  • One thumb, anywhere

Drag from any point on the glass to steer. Hold a second finger for nitro. There is no on-screen wheel to cover the road.

  • Scoring rewards nerve

Points come from drifting and from threading gaps you should not have taken. Play it safe and the number stays small.

  • Works in airplane mode

No account, no sign-up, nothing leaves the phone. Every run works underground, on a plane, or with the SIM pulled out.

  • The soundtrack is generated

Four stations written by code while you drive, from classic synthwave to an ambient one built out of echoes. No audio files ship in the download.

  • A garage worth returning to

Paint, underglow, rims and performance tiers on a car you can spin with a finger. Everything shows its price and its contents before you tap.

  • Reduced Motion is real here

It damps the camera shake and stops every flashing effect, and it switches itself on when Reduce Motion is already on in iOS. Built for photosensitivity rather than added as a settings row.

Network calls in the shipped build.

01aWhat leaves your phone

Nothing. That is checkable, not a slogan.

There is no advertising in version 1.0, and that was decided and written down before the store was built. No loot boxes, no randomised crates, no rewarded video.

There is also no analytics SDK and no ad SDK in the binary, and the game makes no network calls at all. Your best runs, your car and your currency live on the phone and stay there.

One thing said plainly because it looks like something it is not: the NIGHT CIRCUIT ladder is eight rivals generated on your device. It is not online multiplayer and there is no global leaderboard.

Questions.

Something missing? Email help@raxxo.shop

Is it actually free?

Yes. The whole game is free and there is no advertising in 1.0. Six optional one-off purchases exist for gems and two bundles, and none of them are required to play or to finish anything.

Does it need internet?

No, and it never asks. There is no account and no sign-up. Every run works in airplane mode, and your progress is stored on the phone rather than on a server.

Is the NIGHT CIRCUIT ladder other players?

No. It is eight rivals generated locally on your own device. There is no online multiplayer and no global leaderboard, so nothing about your scores is uploaded anywhere.

Will it run on my iPhone? It stutters on mine.

It needs iOS 15 or later, and on older iPhones, the SE especially, it can stutter badly even on the lowest graphics setting. That is a real problem in version 1.0 and it is mine, not your phone's. The low setting does not currently lower enough: it drops resolution and effects but still draws the same world, and the wet road is rendered as a whole second pass on top. A patch that gives the low tier real teeth is being worked on right now. If it is unplayable for you, mail help@raxxo.shop with which iPhone you have, because that list is what I am tuning against.

I get motion sick, or I am photosensitive.

Turn on Reduced Motion in the game settings. It damps camera shake and stops all flashing and pulsing. If Reduce Motion is already on in iOS, the game enables it for you on first launch.

NIGHTMILE is free. These three are not.

The game is what the studio does after hours. The rest is what it does for a living: Git Dojo teaches git, Blueprint sets up Claude Code, FULLMOON audits a whole repo overnight.
